Junior Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer with a passion for all things organic social media.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of design, proficiency in Adobe Suite (primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects), experience creating and editing organic social content, animation skills, and keeps their finger on the pulse of social media, news and pop culture.

Communicative and receptive to feedback, a successful candidate can work independently and collaborate with their team in a remote-first environment. Designing for a birth control company, you should feel comfortable discussing sensitive or "taboo" subjects relating to sex education. • Producing still and moving creative assets for our organic social media profiles with the oversight of the Senior Graphic Designer

• Collaborating with the Senior Social Media Manager to conceptualize posts

• Developing the visual strategy of our social media profiles through the lens of the NC brand guidelines

• Staying on top of and seeking out social media trends, news and pop culture

• Receiving and implementing feedback from other designers and the Senior Social Media manager

• Leveraging insights to better optimize our content strategy to drive business and audience growth

What skills and experience we think you have

• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design, video editing, animation, and content creation

• Deep understanding and excitement for social media, particularly Instagram

• Excellent sense of design and a keen eye for visual hierarchy and composition

• Clear and effective communication skills in articulating concepts and rationales

• Excellent organizational skills, a natural collaborator, but also works well independently

• Ability to interpret and implement feedback and learnings
